The County of Kern's general liability program is insured and self-administered. General Liability manages all of the claims on matters related to the operation and management of the County of Kern. Individuals needing to file a claim against the County must follow the County's regulations (Government Code §§ 910, 910.2 & 910.4) and submit a form to the County of Kern's Clerk of the Board.


How to File a Claim

If you have been involved in vehicle collision while driving a County vehicle, please refer to the following booklet, County of Kern CAO-General Services Fleet Management Customer Service Guide.
